I love shooting video and for the last 11 years I have made a living through my video production business. Before that I worked in television and community organisations in Communications and media.
Over the past 11 years I have shot videos ranging in length from less than one minute to half-hour television programs. You can see my videos on my business website.
My video production clients have included local businesses in the real estate, communications and building industry to not-for-profit and Christian organisations.

I’ve made promotional videos for these local businesses, reported on aid projects in Cambodia, Africa and China. I have also produced documentaries around Australia and overseas.
This video production tutorial is my way of giving something back to those who are just starting out in this industry or are looking for specific tips or hints on how to shoot.
My posts cover all aspects of shooting video, from what sort of equipment you should consider through to post-production techniques.
I’ve recently published a series of posts on how to start a video production business, based on my own experience. Please send me any questions you might have on video production. I’ll try to answer them in future posts.
If you do find these posts helpful I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks
